Hi

New guy here - I have read on the web that in order to become an Instructor I will need a Training centre to "sponsor" me.

What exactly does this mean, anyone?

AT - accredited trainer
ATO - accredited training organization

You need an ATO in order to make you an AT.

Thanks Alfred.

But I still dont know what "sponsor" means. Do I have join an ATO as a permanent member of staff?

Is there a fee payable by the ATO?

Does the ATO allow me to co-teach, and evaluate me?

As far as I know ....

An AT is "nominated" by an ATO to pass the assessment. ATO needs to provide information like:-
1. ATO's document system, practice, performance etc
2. AT's records in practicing PRINCE2, teaching experience ....

Certainly ATO has to pay money for the assessment !

APMG is very helpful in answering questions. If you want to know details, I suggest you send an email to APMG.
