i have just started my career as a software developer my aim is to become a manager.
i was discussing it with someone and he told me about this prince2... Will it be good for me to prepare for this exam prince2.
please help.

Personally, I would say that it would depend on a number of things and where you are in terms of your career, path, etc.

The Practitioner level is targeted squarely at project managers with some experience. The foundation level is for anyone associated or involved with a PRINCE2 project. In practice this will be down to the level of team managers but not necessarily team members.

There are PRINCE2 'overviews' which are available from certain training companies, which I feel would be of interest to people in your position. It is also recommended for senior managers, and anyone else who would like to know what PRINCE2 is about.

In the UK, I believe Maven Training often runs such an overview.
