Hi All

If we get asked to develop the business case, would we just write the steps that are in the book. Just concerned that I do not just want to write exactly what they have and then score no points.

cheers

No need and this will also guranttee you get no marks.

Just follow the book and write down the contents is enough.

Hi Alfred

Not sure what you mean, please could you elaborate

I was thinking of writing that the mandate contains reason for the project, then it gets updated in IP3, when base lined forms part of PID etc

Correct me if I get your meaning wrong.

If the question asks u to develop the business case, then you are required to prepare the Business Case only. If they want to know why and how you prepare the Business Case, they will certainly state that.

If you are asking why the project sounds, then probably you need to elaborate the Case but I seldom (never) find similar questions as I think it is more likely to be an Executive job.
