Senior Project Consultant - Permanent
Osterley, West London

One of the world?s largest broadcasters, Sky is a FTSE top 30 company with more than eight million subscribers, around 10,000 staff and an annual turnover in excess of ?4,000 million.

We now have an urgent requirement for senior PMO consultants to work as a coach and advisor to our project and program managers. You?ll need a strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles and project methodology, preferably Prince 2, and you?ll have a proven track record of influencing best practice, governance and risk management as well as excellent people management skills on big budget (?5 million plus) or complex projects.

You?ll conduct pre-initiation workshops, define assessment processess, advise on project approach and best practice, and take responsibility for project documentation, risk analysis, QA and project audit, troubleshooting and escalating problems as required. You'll be instrumental in helping us determine whether our IT projects are managed effectively through implementing reviews and reports.

You'll need to be credible based on your extensive experience, unafraid to challenge the status quo without being aggressive, a strong and influential leader and a lively, persuasive communicator.

Our expectations are high, so we?re offering a competitive salary and benefits, and a real chance to impact our market-leading business, as well as excellent development prospects in a business-centric IT team.

To apply, please email a CV and covering letter to helene.williamson@bskyb.com.
