Hi all. I?ve been trying to break into PM this last few months and have finally landed myself an interview. My background is strong Business Analysis and running small projects but now I want to make the leap fully into PM.

I?ve applied for a PM post in Engineering/Facilities and not IT (which I don?t mind as I?m fed up in IT) and wrote on my app I believed I could management skills to the job irrespective of the sector/technology. They deemed the application strong enough to give me an interview. Now..for the hard part ..success in the interview.

As I?ve never interviewed for PM before can I ask you guys what sort of attributes you would be looking for in a good PM, what should I emphasise in the interview. They know I?m from IT background with no previous engineering experience.. many thanks in advance
