Hi All,
Does anyone know if it's possible to take the foundation exam in Australia without paying for a course beforehand?
Many thanks in advance,
Julian

ps. please no rants on the pros/cons of the course - I've been working in a project enviroment for many years and will sit the course if and when I go Practitioner

Hi,

We are based in the UK and have a distance learning course. We have had to team up with another training provider in Australia so people can sit exams after finishing our course - there is just nowhere you can sit a public exam, very frustrating!

Sorry - I shoud have posted this back when I got the info. Send an email to publicexams@apmgroup.co.uk for details of sitting a public exam in Australia (or the UK). The exams run every two or three months (for Sydney) and cost $570 AUD.

Regards,
Julian

Hi Julian ... I recently organised PRINCE2 training for my PM's as part of me rolling out the methodology to our organisation. Training was conducted by Rational Management Consulatants down in Melbourne. Peter Whitelaw is the MD and he has just released a self study kit for the foundation exam .. give him a call he was great value. If you need further details let me know

Cheers

Martin.

If you contact APMG on 01494 452 450, they will give you the definitive answer to this question - there's no need to rely on speculation!
