Correct me if I am wrong.

Deliverables (Products in PRINCE2 terms) ... should not be scoped but ... specified. Work could be scoped ... and then the Products, based on the scope, can then be specified. Products must be specified in details in order to get a quality results.

For instance, I have a project which provides some PR/MARCOM services. The services scope will include "their product positioning", ... etc.

So based on the scope, I will specify 2 road shows, 1 brochure, 1 TV commercial etc. The road shows should be ....

It is very similar to some consultancy project. Define the scope of work, boundaries then specify the work to be done, methodology etc.
