It seems that APMG has opened an office in China.

What is APMG's plan?

Will anybody interests in exploring the market in China?

The APM Group was supposed to be opening an ofice in Qingdao, China during 2005 but as yet, the APMG website has not yet listed th details so I'm not sure if this has happend of not yet.

A chinese company (China Machine Press) began publishing the Chinese version of the PRINCE2 manual in November 2004. They sold about 2400 copies within the first 2-3 months.

There is obviously tremendous demand for project management services in china since what we are witnessing in china is an unprecented economic boom on a scale never seen before (or probably ever again). My bet is that there is a huge shortfall of qualified and experienced project managers in China. So, Prince2 should have a great opportunity to establish itself over there. I'm sure that companies offering any Prince2 project management training course will do very well. For anyone who is a Chinese speaker and a Prince2 accredited trainer, I think the world (or China) will be your oyster.

Hi Simon,

I am the one who introduce the first public training to China -- Hong Kong. Personally I also provide PRINCE2 consultation services here.

However, be frank to say, I am a little bit upset with the officials. I had allocated a lot of resources here and the result was very encouraging. At the end of the day, I opened up the market and eventually ... due to limited resources, ... there is no reward for my effort.
