I remember having a question on a risk Log and it stated, id what is wrong with the risk log and how you can improve, is this a likely question?

Has anyone else been faced with this question

Yea. I recall that I read that ....

The scenario should be: there are 2 PMs. The first PM A is not that experience and he prepares a risk log (analysis?). Then the PM A is replaced by PM B.

The scenario asks what is wrong with the first risk analysis and if you were PM B, how you "modify" the risk analysis etc. And then, one of the risks happens... how you implement the changes etc. (what PRINCE2 products and sub-processes? Certainly the risk is a critical one ... so how a PRINCE2 PM should react?)

IMHO, one should then turn to the TSO MSP with PRINCE2 and refers the Risk Analysis (or risk log if it is the risk log) and tries to figure out what is missing out or if it is applied in a "wrong" way. The Prac Exam is an open book question. One should always refer to the book - to see the principle behind and how one should apply the PRINCE2.

ok cool. Would a similar situation apply where an issue has been raised, and then we would need to use the change control approach on pg 296.

Raise the issue
record it in log
Off Spec/ RFC
Impact on risk log, stage, Proj Plan,
CS5 stage assesment
etc etc
